Sukta 18
न ब्रा॑ह्म॒णो हिं॑सित॒व्यो॒३ऽग्निः प्रि॒यत॑नोरिव । सोमो॒ ह्यऽस्य दाया॒द इन्द्रो॑ अस्याभिशस्ति॒पाः
ná brā́hmaṇo híṃsitavyo ’gníḥ priyátanur iva | sómo hí ’sya dāyā́da índro ’syābhiśastipā́ḥ ||
The Brahmin must not be harmed—(he is) as fire with body beloved. For Soma is his heir, and Indra is his warder against imprecation.
برہمن کو ہرگز نقصان نہیں پہنچانا چاہیے، وہ پیارے جسم والی آگ کی طرح ہے، کیونکہ سوم اس کا وارث ہے اور اندر اس کی بددعا سے بچانے والا ہے۔
