Sukta 2
ता अ॑ध॒रादुदी॑ची॒राव॑वृत्रन् प्रजान॒तीः प॒थिभि॑र्देव॒यानैः॑ । पर्व॑तस्य वृष॒भस्याधि॑ पृ॒ष्ठे नवा॑श्चरन्ति स॒रितः॑ पुरा॒णीः
tā́ adharā́d udī́cīr ā́vavṛtran prajāná tī́ḥ pathíbhir devayā́naiḥ | párvatasya vṛṣabhásyā́dhi pṛṣṭhé návāś caranti sáritaḥ purāṇī́ḥ
Those, knowing, have rolled forth from below, northward, by paths that are god-going; upon the back of the bull-mountain the ancient rivers move, new-born ever anew.
وہ جاننے والی پانی کی دھارائیں نیچے سے شمال کی طرف بہتی ہیں، دیوتاؤں کے راستوں سے، بیل پہاڑ کی پیٹھ پر قدیم دریا ہمیشہ نئے روپ میں بہتے ہیں۔
