समिधा यस्त आहुतिं निशितिं मर्त्यो नशत् । वयावन्तं स पुष्यति क्षयमग्ने शतायुषम् ॥
Transliteration
samídhā yás ta ā́hutiṃ níśitiṃ mártyo náśat | vayā́vantaṃ sá púṣyati kṣáyam agne śatáyūṣam ||
Translation
Ang mortal na nakakaabot sa iyong alay kasama ang pag-aapoy at kasama ang matalim, itinuturong gawa, siya ay nagpapalago ng isang tahanang puno ng lakas ng buhay - oh Agni - isang tirahan ng sandaang buhay.
