अस्वापयद्दभीतये सहस्रा त्रिंशतं हथैः । दासानामिन्द्रो मायया ॥
asvā́payad dabhī́taye sahásrā triṃśatáṃ háthaiḥ | dāsā́nām índro māyáyā ||
Indra, by his conscious power of māyā, put to sleep for Dabhīti thirty thousand of the Dāsa forces with his blows—he quieted the hostile movements by a superior mastery, not merely by brute force.
