Sukta 3.47
सजोषा इन्द्र सगणो मरुद्भिः सोमं पिब वृत्रहा शूर विद्वान् । जहि शत्रूँरप मृधो नुदस्वाथाभयं कृणुहि विश्वतो नः ॥
sa-jóṣā indra sá-gaṇo marúdbhiḥ sómaṁ piba vṛtra-hā śūra vidvā́n | jáhi śatrū́m̐r ápa mṛ́dho nudasvā́thā́bhayaṁ kṛṇuhi viśvátó naḥ ||
Sa iisang kasiyahan kasama ang mga Marut, sa iisang kapisanan, uminom ng Soma, oh pumatay kay Vṛtra, oh bayani na nakakaalam. Latayin ang mga kaaway, itaboy ang mga pangaabuso; pagkatapos ay gawin para sa amin ang kawalan ng takot mula sa lahat ng panig.
