Sukta 2.33
हवीमभिर्हवते यो हविर्भिरव स्तोमेभी रुद्रं दिषीय । ऋदूदरः सुहवो मा नो अस्यै बभ्रुः सुशिप्रो रीरधन्मनायै ॥
havī́mabhir hávate yó havírbhir áva stómebhī rudráṃ diṣī́ya | ṛdū́daraḥ su-hávo mā́ no asyái babhrúḥ su-śípro rīradhat manā́yai ||
Siya na tumatawag kay Rudra ng mga alay, na nagsisilbi sa kanya ng mga himno at handog, sana si Rudra, ang matibay na tiyan, ang mabuting tinatawag, ay huwag saktan kami dito. Nguni't ang kayumanggi na may magagandang labi ay magpakumbaba patungo sa ating isipan at layunin.
