सर्वं सलिलमेवासीत्पृथिवी यत्र निर्मिता।तत: समभवद्ब्रह्मा स्वयम्भूर्दैवतै: सह।।।।
sarvaṃ salilam evāsīt pṛthivī yatra nirmitā |
tataḥ samabhavad brahmā svayambhūr daivataiḥ saha ||
Noong pasimula, ang lahat ay pawang tubig; mula roon nahubog ang daigdig. Pagkaraan, nahayag si Brahmā na Svayambhū, kasama ng mga diyos.
