Sukta 6.50
उत द्यावापृथिवी क्षत्रमुरु बृहद्रोदसी शरणं सुषुम्ने । महस्करथो वरिवो यथा नोऽस्मे क्षयाय धिषणे अनेहः ॥
utá dyāvāpṛthivī́ kṣatrám urú bṛhád rodasī́ śáraṇaṃ suṣúmne | mahás karatho várivo yáthā no 'smé kṣáyāya dhiṣaṇe anéhaḥ ||
และขอให้ฟ้าและดิน—สองผู้กว้างใหญ่—เป็นอำนาจอธิปไตยอันกว้างและทรงพลังแก่เรา เป็นที่พึ่งอันร่มเย็น. ขอทรงกระทำให้เกิดช่องว่างอันใหญ่หลวงแก่เรา เพื่อว่า ณ ที่นี้ในหมู่เรา โอ ธีษณา (Dhīṣaṇā) ทั้งสอง จะมีที่พำนัก—ไม่เสื่อม ไม่พร่อง.
