दिवो न तुभ्यमन्विन्द्र सत्रासुर्यं देवेभिर्धायि विश्वम् । अहिं यद्वृत्रमपो वव्रिवांसं हन्नृजीषिन्विष्णुना सचानः ॥
divó ná túbhyam ánv indra satrā́ asúryaṃ devébhir dhāyi víśvam | áhíṃ yád vṛtrám apó vavrivā́ṃsaṃ hán ṛjīṣin víṣṇunā sacānáḥ ||
ดุจมาจากสวรรค์ โออินทระ ระเบียบศักดิ์สิทธิ์อันครอบคลุมทั้งปวงได้ถูกสถาปนาเพื่อท่านท่ามกลางเหล่าเทพ เมื่อท่าน—ผู้ขับม้าสีน้ำตาลทอง—ร่วมเคียงกับวิษณุ (Viṣṇu) แล้วสังหารอหิ วฤตระ (Vṛtra) ผู้ปกปิดกักขังสายน้ำไว้
