सोमेनादित्या बलिनः सोमेन पृथिवी मही । अथो नक्षत्राणामेषामुपस्थे सोम आहितः ॥
Transliteration
sómenādityā́ balínaḥ sómena pṛthivī́ mahī́ | átho nákṣatrāṇām eṣā́m upásthe sóma ā́hitaḥ ||
Translation
ด้วยโสมะ (Soma) เหล่าอาทิตยะ (Ādityas) จึงมีกำลัง; ด้วยโสมะ แผ่นดินอันกว้างใหญ่ก็ยิ่งทรงพลัง. และโสมะถูกวางไว้ในอ้อมอกแห่งหมู่ดาวเหล่านี้—ตั้งอยู่ท่ามกลางแสงอันเป็นระเบียบ เป็นอาหารหล่อเลี้ยงและความรื่นรมย์อันเร้นลับของพวกมัน.
