Sukta 19
सोम॒ ओष॑धीभि॒रुद॑क्राम॒त् तां पुरं॒ प्र ण॑यामि वः । तामा वि॑शत॒ तां प्र वि॑शत॒ सा वः॒ शर्म॑ च॒ वर्म॑ च यच्छतु
sóma óṣadhībhirúdakrāmat; tā́m púraṃ prá ṇayāmi vaḥ | tā́m ā́ viśata, tā́m prá viśata; sā́ vaḥ śárma ca várma ca yacchatu ||
Soma with the herbs strode forth: that fortress I lead forward unto you. Enter ye into it, enter ye full into it: may she bestow on you both shelter and armour.
โสมะ (Soma) พร้อมด้วยหมู่โอษธิ—สมุนไพรทั้งหลาย—ก้าวออกไปแล้ว; ป้อมปราการนั้น เรานำพาไปข้างหน้าเพื่อพวกท่าน. จงเข้าไปในนั้น จงเข้าไปให้เต็มที่; ขอให้นางประทานแก่พวกท่านทั้งที่พึ่งพาและเกราะคุ้มกัน.
