भूमे॑श्च॒ वै सो॒३ग्नेश्चौष॑धीनां च॒ वन॒स्पती॑नां च वानस्प॒त्यानां॑ । च वी॒रुधां॑ च प्रि॒यं धाम॑ भवति॒ य ए॒वं वेद॑
bhū́meś ca váí sá agnéś coṣadhī́nāṃ ca vanaspátīnāṃ ca vānaspatyā́nāṃ ca vīrúdhāṃ ca priyáṃ dhā́ma bhavati yá eváṃ véda
Verily he becometh a dear abode of Earth, and of Agni, and of the herbs, and of the forest-lords, and of the forest-growths, and of the creeping plants—who knoweth thus.
แท้จริง ผู้ใดรู้ดังนี้ ย่อมเป็นที่พำนักอันเป็นที่รักของแผ่นดิน ของอัคนี (Agni) ของเหล่าสมุนไพร ของเจ้าแห่งพงไพร (ไม้ใหญ่) ของพืชพรรณแห่งป่า และของเถาวัลย์กับพืชเลื้อยคลานทั้งหลาย.
