Praise of the Sacred Geography of Mathurā
तस्मिंस्तु वसते देवि तिन्दुको नाम नापितः॥ तस्मिंस्तु वसतस्तस्य नापितस्य पुरोत्तमे॥
tasmiṁstu vasate devi tinduko nāma nāpitaḥ || tasmiṁstu vasatas tasya nāpitasya purottame ||
దేవీ, ఆ ఉత్తమ నగరంలో ‘తిందుక’ అనే పేరుగల ఒక క్షౌరకుడు (నాయుడు) నివసించేవాడు. ఆ నగరంలో నివసించిన ఆ క్షౌరకుని గురించి (ముందు) కథ చెప్పబడుతుంది.
