Sukta 9.97
मध्वः सूदं पवस्व वस्व उत्सं वीरं च न आ पवस्वा भगं च । स्वदस्वेन्द्राय पवमान इन्दो रयिं च न आ पवस्वा समुद्रात् ॥
mádhvaḥ sū́daṃ pavasva vásva útsaṃ vīráṃ ca na ā́ pavasvā bhágaṃ ca | svadásv índrāya pávamāna indo rayíṃ ca na ā́ pavasvā samudrā́t ||
మాకు మధురసపు సూదం (ఇనిమయిన పీడనం) పవస్వ; వసు (ధనం) యొక్క ఉత్సం (మూలస్రోతస్సు) కూడా మాకు పవస్వ; మాకు వీర-బలమును మరియు భగ (సౌభాగ్య-వితరకుడు) ను కూడా పవస్వ. హే పవమాన ఇందూ! ఇంద్రునికై స్వదస్వ (మధురమగు); అలాగే సముద్రాత్ (ఆళమైన సముద్రం నుండి) మాకు రయి (సంపద/పూర్ణత) ను కూడా పవస్వ.
