महत्तत्सोमो महिषश्चकारापां यद्गर्भोऽवृणीत देवान् । अदधादिन्द्रे पवमान ओजोऽजनयत्सूर्ये ज्योतिरिन्दुः ॥
Transliteration
mahát tát sómo mahiṣáś cakārāpā́ṃ yád gárbho ’vṛṇīta devā́n | ádadhād índre pávamāna ójo ’jánayat sū́rye jyótir índuḥ ||
Translation
మహత్తరమైన కార్యాన్ని మహిష సోముడు చేసెను: ఆపాం గర్భమై దేవులను వరణించెను. పవమానుడు ఇంద్రునిలో ఓజస్సును స్థాపించెను; ఇందు సూర్యునిలో జ్యోతిని జనింపజేసెను.
