सोमः पवते जनिता मतीनां जनिता दिवो जनिता पृथिव्याः । जनिताग्नेर्जनिता सूर्यस्य जनितेन्द्रस्य जनितोत विष्णोः ॥

Transliteration

sómaḥ pavate janitā́ matīnā́ṃ janitā́ divó janitā́ pṛthivyā́ḥ | janitā́gner janitā́ sū́ryasya janiténdrasya janitó uta víṣṇoḥ ||

Translation

సోముడు శుద్ధుడై ప్రవహిస్తున్నాడు—అతడు మతీనాం (ప్రేరిత ఆలోచనలు/ఋషి-ప్రజ్ఞ) యొక్క జనిత; అతడు ద్యౌ (స్వర్గం) యొక్క జనిత, అతడు పృథివి (భూమి) యొక్క జనిత. అతడు అగ్నే యొక్క జనిత, అతడు సూర్యస్య యొక్క జనిత; అతడు ఇంద్రస్య యొక్క జనిత, మరియు విష్ణోః యొక్క కూడా జనిత.
