शूरो न धत्त आयुधा गभस्त्योः स्वः सिषासन्रथिरो गविष्टिषु । इन्द्रस्य शुष्ममीरयन्नपस्युभिरिन्दुर्हिन्वानो अज्यते मनीषिभिः ॥

Transliteration

śū́ro na dhatte ā́yudhā gabhastyóḥ svàḥ sisāsan rathiró gaviṣṭíṣu | índrasya śúṣmam ī́rayan apasyúbhir índur hinvānáḥ ajyate manīṣíbhiḥ ||

Translation

వీరునివలె అతడు తన గభస్తి-హస్తాలలో ఆయుధాలను ధరించుచున్నాడు; స్వః (దీప్త లోకం) కోరుతూ, గవిష్టి—కిరణాన్వేషణలో—రథమార్గంలో స్థిరంగా నిలుచున్నాడు. అపస్యు కర్మలచే ఇంద్రుని శుష్మాన్ని ఉద్ధీపింపజేస్తూ, ముందుకు నడిపింపబడిన ఇందు మనీషుల ధియా చేత అభిషిక్తుడగుచున్నాడు.
