अभि प्रियाणि पवते चनोहितो नामानि यह्वो अधि येषु वर्धते । आ सूर्यस्य बृहतो बृहन्नधि रथं विष्वञ्चमरुहद्विचक्षणः ॥

Transliteration

abhí priyā́ṇi pavate cánōhito nā́māni yahvó ádhi yéṣu várdhate | ā́ sū́ryasya bṛható bṛhánn ádhi ráthaṃ víṣvañcam aruhad vicakṣaṇáḥ ||

Translation

అతడు ప్రియమైన వాటి వైపు ప్రవహిస్తాడు, ఆనందార్థం నియోజితుడు; యహ్వుడు (ఉద్వేగవంతుడు) తాను వృద్ధి పొందే ఆ ‘నామ’ాలపై విస్తరిస్తాడు. సూర్యుని మహత్తర మహిమపై—మహానుపై—విచక్షణుడు సర్వవ్యాపి రథాన్ని అధిరోహించాడు.
