त्वं सोम सूर एषस्तोकस्य साता तनूनाम् । वृणीमहे सख्याय वृणीमहे युज्याय ॥
Transliteration
tváṃ soma sū́ra éṣas tokásya sātā́ tanū́nām | vṛṇī́mahe sakhyā́ya vṛṇī́mahe yújyāya ||
Translation
హే సోమా, నీవు సూర్య-వీరుడవు, శీఘ్ర ప్రేరకుడవు; సంతానమును, దేహములను (మన దేహధారిత జీవితం) పొందించే విజేతవు. సఖ్యతకై నిన్ను వరిస్తాము; కర్మలో యుక్త-యోగ ఐక్యతకై కూడా నిన్ను వరిస్తాము.
