तव द्रप्सा उदप्रुत इन्द्रं मदाय वावृधुः । त्वां देवासो अमृताय कं पपुः ॥
Transliteration
táva drapsā́ udaprúta índraṃ mádāya vāvṛdhuḥ | tvā́ṃ devā́so amṛ́tāya káṃ papuḥ ||
Translation
నీ ‘ద్రప్స’—ఊర్ధ్వగాములు, ‘ఉదప్రుత’—ఇంద్రుణ్ని ‘మదాయ’ (శక్తి-ఉల్లాస మత్తుకు) వృద్ధి చేశాయి. దేవులు నిన్ను ‘అమృతాయ’—అమరత్వార్థం—పానంచేశారు; శుద్ధానందం అమర ద్రవ్యమై మారింది.
