त्वं न इन्द्रासां हस्ते शविष्ठ दावने । धानानां न सं गृभायास्मयुर्द्विः सं गृभायास्मयुः ॥
Transliteration
tváṃ na indrāsā́ṃ háste śaviṣṭha dā́vane | dhānā́nāṃ ná sáṃ gṛbhāyāsmayúr dvíḥ sáṃ gṛbhāyāsmayúḥ ||
Translation
ఓ ఇంద్రా, అత్యంత శక్తిమంతుడా, మా దానార్థం నీవు నీ చేతిలో (ధనాన్ని) ధరించు. ధాన్యాలు ముష్టిలో సమకూరినట్లు, మమ్మల్ని—నిన్ను కోరువారిని—ఒకటిగా చేర్చు; మరల మమ్మల్ని—నిన్ను కోరువారిని—ఒకటిగా చేర్చు.
