Sukta 8.61
त्वं नः पश्चादधरादुत्तरात्पुर इन्द्र नि पाहि विश्वतः । आरे अस्मत्कृणुहि दैव्यं भयमारे हेतीरदेवीः ॥
tváṃ naḥ paścā́d adharā́d uttarā́t púra índra ní pāhi viśvátaḥ | āré asmát kṛṇuhi daívyam bhayám āré hetī́r adevī́ḥ ||
హే ఇంద్రా! వెనుకనుండి, కిందనుండి, పై నుండి, ముందునుండి—అన్ని దిక్కుల నుండీ—మమ్మల్ని దృఢంగా కాపాడు. మా నుండి దూరంగా చేయి దైవ్య (అతిదైవ/పరలోకీయ) భయాన్ని; దూరంగా చేయి శత్రు ఘాతాలను, అదేవీ (అదైవ) శక్తులను.
