अवोचाम महते सौभगाय सत्यं त्वेषाभ्यां महिमानमिन्द्रियम् । अस्मान्त्स्विन्द्रावरुणा घृतश्चुतस्त्रिभिः साप्तेभिरवतं शुभस्पती ॥

Transliteration

ávocāma mahaté sáubhagāya satyáṃ tvéṣābhyāṃ mahimā́nam indriyám | asmā́nt sv indrāvaruṇā ghṛtáścutaḥ tríbhiḥ sāptébhiḥ avataṃ śúbhaspatī ||

Translation

మహా సౌభాగ్యార్థం మేము సత్యమును పలికితిమి; హే ఉగ్ర-తేజస్వి యుగళా, కార్యసాధక బలమున మహత్తర మహిమ మీకే చెందును. హే ఇంద్ర-వరుణా, ఘృతధారగా చిందువారై, మూడు మరియు ఏడు (క్రమబద్ధ శక్తులు) చేత మమ్మును రక్షించండి—హే శుభస్వాములారా.
