Sukta 8.50
शतानीका हेतयो अस्य दुष्टरा इन्द्रस्य समिषो महीः । गिरिर्न भुज्मा मघवत्सु पिन्वते यदीं सुता अमन्दिषुः ॥
śatā́nīkā hetáyo asya duṣṭárā índrasya samíṣo mahī́ḥ | girír na bhujmā́ maghávat-su pinvate yád īṃ sutā́ amándiṣuḥ ||
అతని ఆయుధములు శతధారలు (శతానీక)—దాటలేనివి; ఇంద్రుని ప్రేరక శక్తులు (సమిషః) మహత్తరములు. పిండిన సోమరస బిందువులు అతనిని ఆనందముతో దీప్తింపజేసినప్పుడు, అతడు మఘవత్ల (ఉదారుల) మధ్య పర్వతపు విస్తార ఘనంలా ఉబ్బి పెరుగుతాడు।
