तमिन्द्रं दानमीमहे शवसानमभीर्वम् । ईशानं राय ईमहे ॥
Transliteration
tám índraṃ dā́nam īmahe śavasā́nam abhī́rvam | ī́śānaṃ rāyá īmahe ||
Translation
ఆ ఇంద్రుని—దానదాతను, బలంలో మహాశక్తిమంతుడిని, నిర్భయుడిని—మేము ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాము. సమృద్ధి యొక్క అధిపతిని, రయి (ధన-ఐశ్వర్య) యొక్క స్వామిని మేము కోరుతున్నాము॥
