Sukta 8.3
पिबा सुतस्य रसिनो मत्स्वा न इन्द्र गोमतः । आपिर्नो बोधि सधमाद्यो वृधेऽस्माँ अवन्तु ते धियः ॥
píbā sutásya rasíno mátsvā na indra gó-mataḥ | āpír no bodhi sadha-mā́dyo vṛdhé ’smā́n avantu te dhíyaḥ ||
గోమయ తేజస్సుతో కూడిన ఇంద్రా! పిండిన సోమరసాన్ని పానంచేసి, మా అంతరంలో ఆనందించి మత్తిల్లుము. మాకు సమీప సహాయకుడిగా మేల్కొను; సామూహిక మదోత్సవానికి సహచరుడై మా వృద్ధికై నిలువు. నీ ప్రేరిత ‘ధియః’ (ప్రేరణాత్మక ధ్యానాలు) మమ్మల్ని కాపాడి పోషించుగాక.
