ऊर्जो नपातं सुभगं सुदीदितिमग्निं श्रेष्ठशोचिषम् । स नो मित्रस्य वरुणस्य सो अपामा सुम्नं यक्षते दिवि ॥
Transliteration
ūrjó napātaṃ subhágaṃ sudī́ditim agníṃ śréṣṭhaśociṣam | sá no mitrásya váruṇasya sá apā́m ā́ sumnáṃ yakṣate diví ||
Translation
ఊర్జస్సు యొక్క నపాత్, సుభగుడు, సుదీప్తుడు, శ్రేష్ఠ జ్వాల కలిగిన అగ్ని—అతడు మనకొరకు దివిలో మిత్ర-వరుణుల కృపను, అలాగే అపాం (జలదేవతల) సుమ్నం అనే కల్యాణానుగ్రహాన్ని సంపాదించుగాక.
