विप्रं विप्रासोऽवसे देवं मर्तास ऊतये । अग्निं गीर्भिर्हवामहे ॥
Transliteration
vípraṁ víprāso'váse deváṁ mártāsa ūtáye | agníṁ gīrbhír havāmahe ||
Translation
మేము ఋషులు, మర్త్యులమై, రక్షణకూ పోషక సహాయానికీ, దేవుడూ విప్రుడైన అగ్నిని మా వాణులతో (గీర్భిః) ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాము.
