Transliteration

abó̄dhi jārá uṣásām upásthād hótā mandráḥ kavítamaḥ pāvakáḥ | dádhāti ketúm ubháyasya jántor havyā́ devéṣu dráviṇaṃ sukṛ́tsu ||

Translation

అతడు మేల్కొన్నాడు—ఉషస్సుల ఒడిలోనుండి జార (ప్రియుడు): హోతా, మంద్ర (ఆనందదాయకుడు), కవితమ (అత్యుత్తమ ఋషి-స్వరూపుడు), పావక (శుద్ధికారకుడు). ద్వివిధ జంతువు (అంతర మరియు బాహ్య) కోసం కేతు (చిహ్నం/ప్రకాశం) మరియు వివేకాన్ని స్థాపిస్తాడు; దేవులలో హవ్యా (ఆహుతులు) ను, సుకృతులలో ద్రవిణ (సంపద) ను నిలుపుతాడు.
