Sukta 7.62
वि नः सहस्रं शुरुधो रदन्त्वृतावानो वरुणो मित्रो अग्निः । यच्छन्तु चन्द्रा उपमं नो अर्कमा नः कामं पूपुरन्तु स्तवानाः ॥
ví naḥ sahásraṃ śurúdho radantv ṛtā́vāno váruṇo mitró agníḥ | yácchantu candrā́ upamám no arkám ā́ naḥ kā́maṃ pūpurantu stavānā́ḥ ||
మాకు సహస్ర అడ్డంకులు విరిగి తెరచబడుగాక—ఋతవంతులైన వరుణ, మిత్ర, అగ్ని వారి చేత. చంద్రప్రభ వంటి ప్రకాశశక్తులు మాకు కాంతి యొక్క పరమ ‘అర్క’ (శ్రేష్ఠ స్తుతి)ని అనుగ్రహించుగాక; మా స్తుతితో ప్రసన్నులై, వారు మా కామం—సత్య సంకల్పం—పూర్ణంగా నింపుగాక.
