श्रवच्छ्रुत्कर्ण ईयते वसूनां नू चिन्नो मर्धिषद्गिरः । सद्यश्चिद्यः सहस्राणि शता ददन्नकिर्दित्सन्तमा मिनत् ॥
Transliteration
śrávacchrútkārṇa īyate vásūnāṃ nū́ cín no mardhiṣád gíraḥ | sadyáś cid yáḥ sahásrāṇi śatá dádann ákīr dítsantam ā́ minat ||
Translation
ఆయన వినే చెవివైపు, వసువులైన (ధనసంపదల) వైపు సాగుతాడు; ఇప్పటికీ మా వాక్కును బలపరచుగాక—ఒకే క్షణంలో వేలలూ వందలూ దానం చేసేవాడు; దానం చేస్తున్నప్పుడు ఆయనను ఎవరూ తగ్గించలేరు.
