शिक्षेयमिन्महयते दिवेदिवे राय आ कुहचिद्विदे । नहि त्वदन्यन्मघवन्न आप्यं वस्यो अस्ति पिता चन ॥
Transliteration
śíkṣeyam ín mahayaté divédivé rāyá ā́ kuhacíd víde | náhi tvád anyán maghavan na ā́pyaṃ vásyo ásti pitā́ caná ||
Translation
నేను నేర్చుకోవాలి—దినదినమూ—వర్ధమానుని కోసం ఎక్కడైనా ధనాన్ని పొందే మార్గాన్ని. ఎందుకంటే, ఓ మఘవన్ ఇంద్రా, నిన్ను తప్ప మాకు మరింత సమీపమైనదీ, శ్రేష్ఠమైనదీ అయిన ‘ఆప్య’ మంగళం లేదు—తండ్రి కూడా కాదు.
