Sukta 7.103
यदीमेनाँ उशतो अभ्यवर्षीत्तृष्यावतः प्रावृष्यागतायाम् । अख्खलीकृत्या पितरं न पुत्रो अन्यो अन्यमुप वदन्तमेति ॥
yádīm enā́m̐ uśató abhyàvarṣīt tṛṣyā́vataḥ prāvṛ́ṣy ā́gatāyām | akhkhalīkṛ́tyā pitáraṃ ná putró anyó anyám úpa vádantam eti ||
వర్షాకాలం రాగానే ఆ తృష్ణావంతులపై వర్షం కురిసినప్పుడు, అప్పుడు—తడబడే ఉచ్చారణతో—ఒకడు మరొకడిని చేరి పలుకుతాడు, కుమారుడు తండ్రిని చేరినట్లుగా; పునర్జన్మించిన వాక్ తన మూలాన్ని అన్వేషించి, మళ్లీ తన ఛందస్సు-లయను నేర్చుకుంటుంది.
