Sukta 6.9
नाहं तन्तुं न वि जानाम्योतुं न यं वयन्ति समरेऽतमानाः । कस्य स्वित्पुत्र इह वक्त्वानि परो वदात्यवरेण पित्रा ॥
nāháṃ tántuṃ na ví jānā́mi yótuṃ na yáṃ váyanti sam-are átamānāḥ | kásya svít putrá ihá vaktvā́ni paró vadā́ty ávareṇa pitrā́ ||
ఆ తంతువును నేను ఎరుగను; ఆ ఓతు (నేయుడు) ఏమిటో స్పష్టంగా ఎరుగను—అచల కర్మికులు సమరంలోని సామూహిక పోరాటంలో నేయు దానినీ ఎరుగను. ఇక్కడ ఎవరి పుత్రుడు ఈ వచనాలను పలుకగలడు? అక్కడ దూరమైన సత్యవాక్యం, సమీప పితృ ఆధారంతో ఉచ్చరించబడుతుంది.
