Sukta 6.71
वाममद्य सवितर्वाममु श्वो दिवेदिवे वाममस्मभ्यं सावीः । वामस्य हि क्षयस्य देव भूरेरया धिया वामभाजः स्याम ॥
vāmám adyá savitar vāmám u śvó divédive vāmám asmábhyaṃ sāvīḥ | vā́masya hí kṣáyasya deva bhū́rer ayā́ dhiyā́ vāma-bhā́jaḥ syāma ||
ఓ సవితరా, నేటి వాంఛిత మంగళం, రేపటి వాంఛిత మంగళం—దినదినమూ మా కొరకు వాంఛితమేదో దానినే ప్రేరేపించుము. ఎందుకంటే, ఓ దేవా, ఆనందపు సమృద్ధిగల నివాసమైన ఆ ‘వామస్య క్షయ’లో మేము ఈ ధియా (ఆలోచన-ఇచ్ఛ) మరియు రయి (సంపద) ద్వారా భాగస్వాములు (వామభాజః) కావలెను.
