यद्रोदसी प्रदिवो अस्ति भूमा हेळो देवानामुत मर्त्यत्रा । तदादित्या वसवो रुद्रियासो रक्षोयुजे तपुरघं दधात ॥

Transliteration

yád rodasī pradívo ásti bhū́mā héḷo devā́nām utá martyá-trā́ | tád ādityā́ vasavo rudriyā́so rakṣo-yúje tápur agháṃ dadhāta ||

Translation

రెండు రోదసీ (రెండు లోకాలు)లోను, దూర దివ్‌లోను వ్యాపించిన ఏ కోపమో కఠినతయో—దేవులలోనైనా, ఇక్కడ మర్త్యక్షేత్రంలోనైనా—అప్పుడు ఆదిత్యులు, వసువులు, రుద్రియులు, తమో-యుజ్ (అంధకారాన్ని జోడించువారు)పై ప్రతిగా, పాపాన్ని మరియు హానిని దూరంగా ఉంచే ఆ తప్త బలాన్ని స్థాపించుగాక.
