Sukta 6.44
आसु ष्मा णो मघवन्निन्द्र पृत्स्वस्मभ्यं महि वरिवः सुगं कः । अपां तोकस्य तनयस्य जेष इन्द्र सूरीन्कृणुहि स्मा नो अर्धम् ॥
ā́su ṣmā no maghavann indra pṛtsv asmábhyaṃ máhi várivaḥ su-gáṃ kaḥ | apā́ṃ tokásya tánayasya jéṣe índra sūrī́n kṛṇúhi smā no árdham ||
హే మఘవన్ ఇంద్రా! ఇప్పుడు ఈ యుద్ధాలలో మా కొరకు మహత్తర విశాలావకాశాన్ని, సుగమమైన మార్గాన్ని కల్పించు. జలాల, శిశువు మరియు సంతానపు జయార్థం, హే ఇంద్రా, మమ్మల్ని తేజోమయ అధిపత్యానికి అధికారులుగా చేయి; మమ్మల్ని నిజంగా నీ భాగంగా చేయి.
