Sukta 6.3
स ईं रेभो न प्रति वस्त उस्राः शोचिषा रारपीति मित्रमहाः । नक्तं य ईमरुषो यो दिवा नॄनमर्त्यो अरुषो यो दिवा नॄन् ॥
sa ī́m rebhó na práti vaste usrā́ḥ śóciṣā rārāpīti mitrám-ahāḥ | náktaṃ ya īm aruṣó yó divā́ nṝ́n amártyo aruṣó yó divā́ nṝ́n ||
రేభ (నిపుణ స్తోత్రగాయకుడు) వలె ఉషస్సుల ప్రకాశంలో అతడు తనను ఆవరించుకుంటాడు; తన శోచిషా (జ్వాల)తో మిత్రస్వరూపమైన దినాలను ప్రతిధ్వనింపజేస్తాడు. రాత్రి అరుṣ (ఎర్రవర్ణ) అయినవాడు, పగలు మనుష్యులను నడిపించేవాడు—అమర్త్యుడు; పగలు మనుష్యులను నడిపించే అదే అరుṣుడు.
