Transliteration

táva ha tyád indra víśvam ājā́u sástō dhunī-cúmurī yā́ ha sísvap | dī́dayad ít túbhyaṃ sómebhiḥ súnvan dabhītír idhmá-bhṛtiḥ pakthy àrkáiḥ ||

Translation

హే ఇంద్రా! యుద్ధంలో నీ ఆ సమస్త పరాక్రమం ప్రకటితమైంది—నీవు కోరినట్లే ధునీ మరియు చుమురీ పడగొట్టబడినప్పుడు. పక్థులలో దభీతి, ఇధ్మం (యజ్ఞ సమిధ) మోసుకొని, సోమాన్ని పిండి, స్తుతి-ఋక్కులతో దానిని నీకోసం జ్వలింపజేస్తాడు—దేవుని పట్ల ఆకాంక్షాగ్ని కాంతితో ప్రతిస్పందిస్తుంది.
