पौरं चिद्ध्युदप्रुतं पौर पौराय जिन्वथः । यदीं गृभीततातये सिंहमिव द्रुहस्पदे ॥
Transliteration
pauráṃ cíd dhy udaprútam paura paurā́ya jínvathaḥ | yád īṃ gṛbhītá-tātaye siṃhám iva drúhaḥ padé ||
Translation
హే పుర (నగర) నాథులారా! నగరజీవనానికి బద్ధుడైనవాడు ప్రవాహంలో మునిగిపోయినప్పటికీ, అతడు తన సహనాగరికునికై బలపడునట్లు మీరు ప్రేరేపిస్తారు. శత్రు-ఆక్రమణార్థం అతడు పట్టుబడినప్పుడు, మోసగాడి పాదబంధం నుండి సింహంలా అతడిని విడిపిస్తారు.
