पर्वतश्चिन्महि वृद्धो बिभाय दिवश्चित्सानु रेजत स्वने वः । यत्क्रीळथ मरुत ऋष्टिमन्त आप इव सध्र्यञ्चो धवध्वे ॥
párvataś cin máhi vṛddhó bibhāya diváś cit sā́nu rejata svané vaḥ | yát krī́ḷatha maruta ṛṣṭí-manta ā́pa iva sadhryáñco dhavadhve ||
మహత్తరమైన, ప్రాచీన పర్వతమూ భయపడుతుంది; మీ గర్జనకు దివ్యశిఖరమూ కంపిస్తుంది. ఓ ఋష్టిమంతులైన మరుతులారా, మీరు క్రీడించినప్పుడు, నీళ్లు ఒకే ప్రవాహంగా తోసుకుపోయి పరుగెత్తినట్లే, మీరు సమూహంగా వేగంగా దూసుకుపోతారు.
