Sukta 5.4
अस्माकमग्ने अध्वरं जुषस्व सहसः सूनो त्रिषधस्थ हव्यम् । वयं देवेषु सुकृतः स्याम शर्मणा नस्त्रिवरूथेन पाहि ॥
asmā́kam agne adhvaráṃ juṣasva sáhasaḥ sūno triṣádhastha havyám | vayáṃ devéṣu sukṛ́taḥ syāma śármaṇā nas trívārūthena pāhi ||
హే అగ్నీ, మా అధ్వరాన్ని (యజ్ఞమార్గం) స్వీకరించు; హే సహసః-సూనో, త్రిషధస్థ (త్రిధామాసీనుడా), ఈ హవ్యాన్ని (హవిస్) గ్రహించు. దేవుల మధ్య మేము సుకృతులు (సత్కర్మకర్తలు) కావలెను; నీ శర్మం (శాంతి/ఆశ్రయం) తోను, నీ త్రివరూథం (త్రివిధ రక్షాకవచం) తోను మమ్మల్ని కాపాడు.
