अश्वेव चित्रारुषी माता गवामृतावरी । सखाभूदश्विनोरुषाः ॥
Transliteration
aśvā́ iva citrā́ruṣī mātā́ gavām ṛtā́varī | sákhābhūd aśvínoḥ uṣā́ḥ ||
Translation
చిత్ర-రక్త అశ్వంలా నీవు అనేక వర్ణాలతో ప్రకాశిస్తావు; నీవు కిరణాల (గవుల) మాత, ఋతాన్ని ధరించువాడవు, ఋతాన్ని వరించువాడవు. ఉషా అశ్వినుల సఖిగా అయింది—సహాయం తెచ్చే శీఘ్ర శక్తులను ఆమె ముందుకు నడిపిస్తుంది.
