ता वां धियोऽवसे वाजयन्तीराजिं न जग्मुर्युवयूः सुदानू । श्रिये न गाव उप सोममस्थुरिन्द्रं गिरो वरुणं मे मनीषाः ॥

tā́ vāṃ dhíyo’váse vāja-yántīr ā́jiṃ ná jagmur yuva-yū́ḥ sudānū | śríye ná gā́va úpa sómam asthur índraṃ gíro váruṇaṃ me manīṣā́ḥ ||

బలసంపదను పెంపొందించే ఈ ‘ధియ’లు సహాయార్థం మీ వద్దకు పందెం వైపు వెళ్లినట్లు చేరాయి, హే యువయు (యువ-యుగళం) సుదానూ. గోవులు తమ శ్రియ కోసం వచ్చినట్లే, ఇవి సోమ సమీపంలో నిలిచాయి. నా ‘గిరః’ ఇంద్రుని వైపు; నా ‘మనీషాః’ వరుణుని వైపు పోతున్నాయి.
