उत स्य वाजी सहुरिॠतावा शुश्रूषमाणस्तन्वा समर्ये । तुरं यतीषु तुरयन्नृजिप्योऽधि भ्रुवोः किरते रेणुमृञ्जन् ॥

Transliteration

utá syá vājī́ sáhurir ṛtá-vā śuśrū́ṣamāṇas tanvā̀ samaryé | túraṃ yatī́ṣu turáyan ṛjipyó 'dhí bhrúvoḥ kirate reṇúm ṛñján ||

Translation

ఆ వాజీ—సహనశీలుడు, ఋతాన్ని ధరించినవాడు—తన దేహంతో సమరానికి ఉత్సుకుడై, గమనాలలో వేగవంతమైనదాన్ని మరింత వేగపరుస్తాడు. ఋజిప్యుడు (నేరుగా ఉన్న అవయవాలవాడు) దూసుకుపోతూ కనుబొమ్మలపై ధూళిని చల్లుతాడు; ఆ రేణువుతో తన్ను తానే రంజింపజేసుకుంటాడు (రంగు పూసుకుంటాడు).
