Sukta 4.35
ये देवासो अभवता सुकृत्या श्येना इवेदधि दिवि निषेद । ते रत्नं धात शवसो नपातः सौधन्वना अभवतामृतासः ॥
yé devā́so ábhavatā sukṛtyā́ śyenā́ ivéd ádhi diví niṣédá | té rátnam dhāta śaváso napātaḥ saudhánvanā ábhavatāmṛ́tāsaḥ ||
సుకృత్యా (సిద్ధ సత్కర్మం) ద్వారా దేవులైన మీరు, శ్యేన (గద్ద) వలె దివిలో ఆసనం చేసుకున్నారు. కనుక, ఓ శవసో నపాతః (బలపు సంతానమా), ఓ సౌధన్వనులారా (సౌధన్వ వంశజులారా), రత్నాన్ని స్థాపించండి; మా కొరకు అమృతాసః (అమర శక్తులు) అవండి—మనుష్యునిలో అమర లాభాన్ని ప్రతిష్ఠించువారు.
