Transliteration

tvaṃ cín naḥ śámyā agne asyā́ ṛtásya bodhy ṛta-cit sv-ādhīḥ | kadā́ ta ukthā́ sadha-mā́dyāni kadā́ bhavanti sakhyā́ gṛhé te ||

Translation

ఓ అగ్నీ, శమ్యా (సమిధ/కట్టెలు) నుండికూడా—మాకోసం—ఈ ఋత (ऋतस्य) క్రమాన్ని బోధించు/జాగ్రత్తపడు; ఓ ఋతచిత్ (ఋత‑జ్ఞ), స్వాధీಃ (సద్వివేక‑సదభిప్రాయం) తో. ఎప్పుడు నీ ఉక్థ (ప్రేరిత స్తోత్రాలు) మరియు సధమాద్య (సహ‑ఆనందం/సహ‑పానం) కలుగుతాయి? ఎప్పుడు నీ గృహంలో సఖ్య (మైత్రి) జన్మిస్తుంది?
