Sukta 4.1
प्र शर्ध आर्त प्रथमं विपन्याँ ऋतस्य योना वृषभस्य नीळे । स्पार्हो युवा वपुष्यो विभावा सप्त प्रियासोऽजनयन्त वृष्णे ॥
prá śárdha ārta prathamáṃ vipanyā́ṃ ṛtásya yónā vṛṣabhásya nīḷé | spārhó yúvā vapuṣyò vibhā́vā saptá priyā́so ’janayanta vṛ́ṣṇe ||
సమూహము ముందుకు దూసుకుపోతుంది—మొదటి ప్రేరిత వాక్కు—ఋత గర్భములో, వృషభుని స్థిర నీళములో. ఆకాంక్షనీయం, యౌవనవంతం, రూపములో దీప్తి, విస్తృత ప్రకాశముతో—ఏడు ప్రియ శక్తులు వృష్ణే (పరాక్రమి) కొరకు అతనిని జన్మింపజేశాయి.
