Sukta 3.14
त्वद्धि पुत्र सहसो वि पूर्वीर्देवस्य यन्त्यूतयो वि वाजाः । त्वं देहि सहस्रिणं रयिं नोऽद्रोघेण वचसा सत्यमग्ने ॥
tvád dhi putra sahaso ví pū́rvīr devásya yánty ūtáyo ví vājā́ḥ | tváṃ dehi sahasríṇaṃ rayíṃ no’dróghena vácasā satyám agne ||
హే సహస పుత్రా, నీ నుంచే దేవుని అనేక ప్రాచీన సహాయాలు, అలాగే శక్తిని పెంపొందించే ‘వాజ’ (బలం/సంపద) విభిన్నంగా బయలుదేరుతాయి. హే అగ్నీ, మాకు సహస్రగుణ ‘రయి’ని దయచేయి; అద్రోఘ (కపటరహిత) వచనంతో—సత్య వచనంతో.
