Sukta 2.38
न यस्येन्द्रो वरुणो न मित्रो व्रतमर्यमा न मिनन्ति रुद्रः । नारातयस्तमिदं स्वस्ति हुवे देवं सवितारं नमोभिः ॥
na yasyéndro varúṇo ná mitró vratám aryamā́ ná minánti rudráḥ | nā́rātayas tám idáṃ svastí huv́e deváṃ savitā́raṃ námo-bhiḥ ||
య whose ఋత-స్వరూప వ్రతాన్ని ఇంద్రుడు కాదు, వరుణుడు కాదు, మిత్రుడు కాదు, అర్యమా కాదు, రుద్రుడుకూడా క్షీణింపజేయలేడు; శత్రు శక్తులూ దానిని దాడి చేయలేవు—ఆ దేవుడు సవితారునే ఇక్కడ మా స్వస్తి (శ్రేయస్సు) కోసం నమస్కారాలతో ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాను.
